VEG HAKKA NOODLES

WANNA HAVE SOME TASTY CHINESE FOOD AT HOME? DO TRY THIS QUICK AND EASY VEG HAKKA NOODLES RECIPE AND YOU WILL LOVE IT!

 SERVES: 4

INGREDIENTS:

Hakka Noodles: 500gms

Bell peppers: 2-3 ( you can take a mix of all the three or capsicum)

Onion: 2 medium-sized

Carrots: 1 no.

Green chilies: 3-4 no.s

Soy sauce: 1-2 tsp

Green chili sauce: 1-2 tsp

Vinegar: 1 tsp

Salt: to taste

Pepper: to taste

Garlic: 7-8 cloves

Oil: 3-4 tbsp

Tomato ketchup(optional): 1 tsp


METHODS:

1. Boil the noodles with some salt till its 90% cooked, do not cook it fully or else the noodles will be sticky. Drain the water and wash the noodles to stop it from getting overcooked, sprinkle some oil, and keep aside.

2. Slice all the vegetables in juliennes and finely chop the garlic.

3. Take a wok/ non-stick pan or an iron kadhai, add oil, and keep it on high flame.

4. When the oil starts fuming, add garlic and chili and toss for a while, slowly add onions and saute.

5. Add bell peppers and carrots to the pan. cook the veggies on a high flame to maintain the crunch and color.

6. After a few tosses, use your fingers to separate the boiled noodles and add them into the pan, slowly toss it on high flame.

7. Quickly add salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, and give the noodles a quick mix.

8. At last, add tomato ketchup if u like the taste.

9. Serve it hot and enjoy!
